graphic23
3 main players injured, and only one of them was severely hurt. Laxman and Yuvraj's injures are cases of terrible fitness, IMO. Rohit is a fat dude and I am not at all surprised that he hurt his ankle or whatever it is. Whats up with the fitness levels going down so drastically? Link to comment
The Outsider
Huh? A split webbing while taking a catch is terrible fitness? Elaborate? Link to comment
graphic23
:hmmm: Well, I figured a fortnight would be enough to recover from a split webbing. :(( Link to comment
The Outsider
^ Yeah, but if it did not heal it's certainly not because of poor fitness like straining a muscle or something. Link to comment
graphic23
True. I dont know. Still feel terrible playing a test match without 3 of the folks from the middle order. Link to comment
littlemaster1982
I hate it when our players get injured in practice session, that too playing games like Football, Tennikoit!!! Link to comment
Bradman99
I know how it feels mate! Lol. Man, this is a big series for both sides, will go a long way to determining just how good India are. Link to comment
Cricketics
It's all about luck dude. Saha's name was written in destiny to represent India in this test match and make his debut. Not sure when Saha would ever represent India in test again, but this time it was his day and hence he is playing. Not many thought that Saha would end up playing. Some did, but even they were not sure. Link to comment
sm332
more like luck ... I hope Saha does well would be nice to have competition for backup wickies spot Link to comment
urbestfriend
I'm very disappointed with Laxman and selectors here. Why is VVS kept selectors in dark about his fitness? If he is not fit or in doubt, he shouldn't have been selected. This injury happened in BD tour, so its pathetic to see that such senior batsman making mistakes. Link to comment
