All dipsites seem to have this arrogance about their nerdiness. Will somebody tell them that this pseudo-intelligencia act is just not cool ? Calcutta-dont remember much Allahabad-beautiful city,wide roads,U.P ke holi with mithai,gujiya,bhang and people going crazy on bhang.young partying parents and eating imli at the school gate. Jullundur-a place to polish fighting skills.Punjabis can and wil fight over anything and everything. Cooch Behar-Bengal is where nature is just that much closer and people are just that much poorer.That town had so many cats that billi ka rasta katna had no importance there.the rain,the bari's,the best lychees,the walks everyday in dark evenings(the electricity was rather erratic) to the accompanying music of the trrrtrring frogs.and the gurkhas who make the sweetest drunks and have the best weapon the khukri. Mavelikara-na kajre ki dhaar na koi kiya shringar phir bhi kitni sundar ho,the rather cheesy song that best suits the awesome beauty of kerala.Felt like a foreign country,clean roads,people queuing to board buses ,no cows to be seen. Bhopal-Madhya Pradesh,criminally underdeveloped but perhaps because of that still has an untouched beauty.strange for us to be back in a hindi speaking land after so long in places where hindi was the second language.also my first exposure to muslim India,the old beautiful mosques with the tall roofs which give a sense of calm.of ghana chaaya after tej dhoop. Agra-they say shravan kumar dropped his parents when he came to agra.enuf said.I like nothing about that place. Delhi-cant figure out delhi.sometimes I think it attracts the worst from its neighbouring states.

Moved to Guwahati to study at IIT in 2001. 4 months internships stints took me to Mumbai in 03, and La Coruna,Spain in 04. Grad school : Blacksburg,VA from 2005 till now. Lived in Chennai for 4 months in between.
