Agarkar is 10 times better. People said he leaked runs, but in the death overs, he used to be deadly accurate with his yorkers. He's also a wicket-taker and gets early wickets. Munaf still has a better economy rate than all of these Irfan Pathan is a better bowler and also a decent batsman. Try out R Vinay Kumar or A Mithun

Agarkar, Munaf and Pathan are all bowlers who got dropped because of one poor series. Otherwise, they were decent bowlers... better than these clowns!

Sreesanth is 24 carat crap in ODIs He is utter rubbish for ODIs and this idiot was dancing to send off a horrendous throw so casually, not realizing a couple of runs would have drew the match He should stick to dubai dance shows and spare this Indian team i am pissed off with him and the absolute sh1tty bowlers we have :mad:

I agree with OP, we should give no more chances to Sree, Ishant and Nehra in ODIs. Irfan, Munaf, Aggy, Tyagi, Mithun etc should be tried

Buddy, Aggy is not even close to being the bowler he was once upon a time. Munaf has no pace, no swing, no bounce, no variation. Sree is expensive but he has atleast 3 of these things, if not all the 4. Irfan isn't even playing for Baroda at the moment so maybe something's up with him.

So, does that mean we keep persisting with below average bowlers who have time and again leaked runs by the ton? Nehra, Ishant and Sree have all got PLENTY of chances. And for the record, neither is Agarkar a trundler nor is A Mithun. they both bowl 135 + and R Vinay Kumar bowls around 130 - 135 (about the pace at which Ishant operates these days). So, we're not talking about trundlers. I for one would even like to take a chance with Kamran Khan. Good pace and has an excellent yorker. So what if he hasn't played domestic cricket.

Why don't you guys come to terms with the fact that no fast bowler can bowl on these kind of pattas with any consistency? You can keep recycling bowlers and even import them, but everyone is going to get smashed. Wouldn't most countries have finished the match once the opposition was 8 down and needing 12 an over? I can't think of any other team that would have slipped at such a stage.

Buddy, did you watch Aggy bowl in the Ranji Trophy final? He was getting reverse swing, bowling yorkers even on the 5th day towards the end of the match and his pace was still above 135 kph. About Irfan, not sure why he's not playing if you say so, but he was captain of the Baroda Ranji team this season.

There's no point singling out anyone, when its bloody clear that our bowling in general has shown itself to be totally impotent when it comes to defending totals under lights. The sheer regularity with which we make routinely make close affairs out of massive 300+ chases is alarming. Time after time, team after team, have casually smashed our bowling when we're defending targets. What initially looked like some bad habit, has now become second nature.

I can't think of any other team that would have slipped at such a stage.[/quote'] Bhaiyya, Parnell and Steyn are not your typical number 9 and 10 batsmen - Parnell played the Under 19 WC as a genuine all rounder and showed his batting skills even in the test at Calcutta. Steyn scored 70 runs in a 180 run partnership against the phaasht bowling of Australia. They are good batsmen.

i dont mind tail enders hitting a few runs but none of our fast bowlers know the art of death bowling.we have a new bowling coach but its the same dreading feeling i get after 40 overs have been bowled.
