pappu_kanghi Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 nice chicks in the stadium :woot: Links or they are ugly.
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Sachin and Dhoni open batting .. Ankola starting the bowling
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 WTF is Ankola doing with the ball ... he has wasted five mins :wall:
Sachinism Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Salil Ankola is laughing and looking fit and healthy .. he is hardly looking in any trouble .. why to organize such a big charity match for him .. what has he done so great about Indian cricket that he deserves so much respect .. and what actually happened to him that he requires such a big sum of money through a benefit match :hmmm: I can understand a charity match for a natural disaster like earthquake, flood etc. and when large funds of money are required but why a charity match for a person who ditched cricket and went to Bollywood :hmmm: A benefit is a match or season of activities granted by a sporting body to a loyal sportsman to boost their income before retirement - wikipedia
pappu_kanghi Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 WTF is Ankola doing with the ball ... he has wasted five mins :wall: Is Agarkar also playing?
pappu_kanghi Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 A benefit is a match or season of activities granted by a sporting body to a loyal sportsman to boost their income before retirement - wikipedia How about playing a charity match for Ramakant Achrekar(guru of Sachin Tendulkar) ?
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 A benefit is a match or season of activities granted by a sporting body to a loyal sportsman to boost their income before retirement - wikipedia He ditched cricket when he was at the peak of his career and went to Bollywood instead .. so how is that loyal sportsman :hmmm: Anyways hope he has a good retirement ... he hardly could break into Bollywood except a few side roles or crap films
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Is Agarkar also playing? No How about playing a charity match for Ramakant Achrekar(guru of Sachin Tendulkar) ? I agree.... the real gems of cricket who gave their life to cricket are suffering from a lame retirement while a man who ditched cricket has a benefit match .. sometimes I get surprised at the irony

And he never made a comeback after that. His career suffered because of that injury.

Which is probably one of the reasons he turned to acting on TV I think it's a nice gesture to have a benefit match for him. At least for the sinking feeling that he must have got when he had to quit playing cricket. And it's good to see Ankola developing a career in acting

pappu_kanghi Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Umpire hit by Dhoni's shot :hehe: Please tell me its Amish Saheba.
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 BTW just checked Ankola's profile in wikipedia and there is no mention of car crash :hmmm: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salil_Ankola
ViruRulez Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 What's Sachin's score? 48 or 49 I suppose when he got out
