Reading the match report on Cricinfo, it does seem they served up basically nine overs of utter junk to try and get them to declare. Apparently this isn't an official FC game, just as well

Even I got excited after looking at the scorecard but then I watched some clips on the news. Cook and Carberry just stood and threw and Shuvagoto, Sahagir and Dollar slogged at everything. This has been a joke of a practice match and I think it should not get FC status. Syed Rasel got injured and he was replaced by another bowler. Shuvagoto is an exciting prospect though. He did really well in his debut DPL season and was called up to the academy. He got a 100 in his first FC match and is averaging 60+ this season. I think he is Dhaka's best batsman this season with 601 runs.
