We haven't seen any pace bowlers from India because the pitches from the grass-roots level make it impossible for pure pace bowlers to survive. Again... what's the big deal about pace if you win matches home and away without it? As long as you can bowl ~130-140kmph and take wickets why do you need 150-160kmph bowlers. Tait and Sami are living examples that speed alone does squat for you as a bowler. Even good pace bowlers like Lee, Bond, Akhtar etc have all been plagued by injuries throughout their career.
