Just because two teams play cricket and it is classified as "test cricket" doesnt mean that it automatically becomes competitive and that those who did well are greats. Certainly not to the level and ruthlessness of modern day cricket. Check post#105 in the Bradman thread.

For every SRT, there are 10+ SRTs in the last 30 years that are comparable to him (statistically or otherwise). So, if you somehow prove that Bradman isnt the greatest, that doesnt mean the tag automatically falls on to Tendulkar. Btw, I think Warne and SRT are in the same boat. They have been surrounded by enormous hype, but their statistics dont prove, by any means, that they are the greatest in their fields. Don't know how you concluded that, I was just pointing out MTC is not talking about experts making predictions, they've given their opinions based on what they've seen.
