Rohit Sharma - Luckiest Indian cricketer ever.

Id agree that he needs a good couple of seasons in Ranji, to show he can really knuckle down and score big, convert starts He had a good average this year but largely due to a triple hundred vs Gujarat (IIRC) ..ignoring T20s: for a middle order slot Kohli is ahead of him in both other formats of the game. Would be good to see both Robin and Rohit given a run on the A tour this summer

SRT needs to personally nurture this potential run machine before he is lost like the rest of the talented players.
SRT has better things to do.. the likes of Gambhir,Sehwag and Raina were nurtured by noone..include Kohli and Murali Vijay in this list. So why does Nohit deserve special treatment ? If he doesn't get his act together - Rayudu and Dhawan will overshadow him sooner than later

I would put 100 or 200 players ahead of Afretard. That guy is one of the most useless cricketer , cricket has ever seen . It is lke putting a rat among huge carnivores :hysterical:

If he doesn't get his act together - Rayudu and Dhawan will overshadow him sooner than later[/quote'] Because both of them play for Mumbai during the Ranji season and Sachin cares for Indian cricket. If he can help Rohit or any other cricketer than why not? Raina won't make it to the test team if he continues to struggle against short pitch bowling. I don't think he has the temperament like Ganguly to overcome this weakness. Time will tell. Gambhir seems to struggle against short pitch bowling when he is forced to attack it...i.e. in t20. He seems to be ok in ODI's and tests...as he can let them go.

Nice to know, it's your choice...

Why not? Would you rather have a guy averaging 25 in the team than trying some of the others?
Exactly- I'd rather see my country's batsman score an unglamorous 50 than to see an overhyped dude hitting two stylish fours (Azhar's wrist-work they say..) and then getting out on a regular basis.

Gilly - "Mr Reliable Sharma played brilliant innings." ICF - "Nohit Sharma played a average innings" :hmmm: Which one to believe?

Funnily it is these people who say Utappa should play when he is scoring runs in IPL. And if Sharma does similarly by playing well in IPL, he should not play. Hypocrites

Nohit Sharma- lol that is a pretty good one. I dunno what to think about this guy, haven't seen enough of him. Don't think Bollinger likes him much though! haha
