I voted for Afghanistan as I am supporting them amongst the minnows but I dont think they will be able to upset anybody this time .. they are in too tough a group to upset .. they might have made an upset had they been in some other group with weaker teams .. whether they upset or not but I am quite sure that in the next few years they will be able to make into the test playing nations list if they continue their momentum

I would like to see the Afghan players in the IPL in the future though not right now .. I have great respect for the Afghan players especially after I read in an article that they are paid merely 300 dollars a month and their captain 400 dollars .. the rest of the players across the world who are representing their countries are earning millions of dollars and the Afghan players are so motivated with only 300 dollars a month .. frankly speaking even I would not do any leisurely job for 300 or 400 dollars here in India and they are sweating out their whole day for that amount of money ... and they dont have even a single cricket stadium and leading a nomadic life to learn and excel their cricketing skills whereas there are dozens of cricket stadiums even in non-cricketing countries .. I really have a lot of respect for their team for their hard work and dedication without even having basic necessities leave apart luxuries .. hope they rise soon though I dont want them to perform too well this T20 .. maybe they can beat or give tough competition to SA at the most :P
