It was established by British government in India during the First World War to analyze the tactics of war to do research on the opposition, and to stop the movements by freedom fighters. After independence, Indian government took it over and then Arms worked for India in all wars. After independence, the work of The Arms became more intense because of the Cold War started and Indian Govt. was working with Soviet Russia. Then the work of Arms was to get the secrets and tactics made by oppositions especially by America and Britain and it was in coordination with Russian Agencies. Till Indira Gandhi died in 1984, it worked well, but after that it stopped working because no one took care of the management and funds, and government got busy in Hindu-Sikh riots and internal terrorism. After some time Soviet Russia too was broken into pieces as a result of that cold war and that was the rise of Osama Bin Laaden. America helped Osama to defeat Soviet Russia in Afghanistan that became the reason of Soviet Russia’s decline, but when India planned atomic testing, the ARMS was again revived by the Indian government to keep the secrets of testing and fight against the after effects of testing and till now it is working well. Octopus: Octopus is a spy organization made by a Soviet Russian intelligence officer with the help of an Indian intelligence officer working in Soviet Russia after Soviet Russia broken into parts as a result of the cold war. The work of this organization was to maintain the equality of power among the countries. For this they recruited officers equipped with every possible technology to get the defence secrets of different countries and to get every possible scientific invention and after that they provide those secrets and inventions to other countries who are lacking in that aspect so that they can compete and the balance of power remains equal. This organization is unidentified. No one knows who works for them and how they work actually, who is their creative head. They work under ground and hide their identities. Everything was going right, but problem occurs when a single person takes over both the organization and he becomes very ambitious that he start using some innocent people and make them international criminals. Temujin Khaghan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 actually if you are trying to show this organisation in a negative light then its okay. but if u r trying to justify their principles and motives then i have a problem this part is so effing communist For this they recruited officers equipped with every possible technology to get the defence secrets of different countries and to get every possible scientific invention and after that they provide those secrets and inventions to other countries who are lacking in that aspect so that they can compete and the balance of power remains equal. if someone doesnt have a certain technology or power then it only means that they dont deserve it. so i guess countries like congo, uganda , bolivia, cambodia, n.korea will all get the latest technology in the world thanks to this good samaritan octopus thing - who will keep updating them without any effort or expenditure on their part. not only that, if everyone is equally powerful then the world will be utter chaos. have u seen the movie "incredibles"? in that syndrome says that after he becomes a superhero with his inventions, he will start selling those inventions so that everyone will become super. and when everyone becomes super, there wont be any.
