satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 so they have had a good decade then:) Last ten years for rebuilding after the disasterous 90s now we have a good team look to see some prolonged success over the next 10 years. When your middle order retire India are going to be a joke side. Oh yes we know how good your side is now. How many South Africans are you importing next year ? :haha::giggle::hysterical: We will be still better than your side full of foreigm mercinaries :giggle:
satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 is that the windies or England...? Lets face it India only really play Sri Lanka and Bangladesh away and occasionally invite teams to play on their doctored home pitches. Last time we played SA. It is England which played Bangladesh :haha::hysterical::giggle: The most doctored pitch was prepared for Ashes :giggle::hysterical::yay:
Serani Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 is that the windies or England...? Lets face it India only really play Sri Lanka and Bangladesh away and occasionally invite teams to play on their doctored home pitches. Thats england, I support both equally but just am not a fan of Englands style of cricket so maybe prefer WI.
Serani Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Oh yes we know how good your side is now. How many South Africans are you importing next year ? :haha::giggle::hysterical: We will be still better than your side full of foreigm mercinaries :giggle: Although I am against the South Africans coming in it just shows how much of a great place England is if these people are willing to leave everything they have when they are in their late teens and try for a career in England. Also it would be illegal to stop a player from playing because they are from SA.
Sachinism Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 is that the windies or England...? Lets face it India only really play Sri Lanka and Bangladesh away and occasionally invite teams to play on their doctored home pitches. doctored pitches hahha That's the excuse England players give because they don't know how to tackle spin. You don't hear Asian teams complain of seaming conditions in England. Or is that the only test of a test cricketer?
Serani Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 how many times have you played sri lanka in the the last three years - cricinfo it please. which pitch was doctored. 5th ashes test match, was a bit dry. Doctored? no.
achilles Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Isn't this enough of India sucks, India is a sheety place, India has rubbish cricketers, India is a rubbish team and a rubbish country kinda comments for one day?
Serani Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I seem to recall in the SA series in India just recently concluded there was an article about a groundsman being pressured by the BCCI to provide a certain sort of pitch. That is doctoring. Dhoni also once paid a reward to a groundsman for producing a raging turner to beat SA. Some would say thats a bribe.
achilles Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Dhoni also once paid a reward to a groundsman for producing a raging turner to beat SA. Some would say thats a bribe. Its a token of appreciation.
The Outsider Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Dhoni also once paid a reward to a groundsman for producing a raging turner to beat SA. Some would say thats a bribe. The ground staff is paid pittance in India and after every single match Indian cricketers pool in money and pay the staff a tip. It is a decades old practice.
satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 was that in the same series as Sehwag's 300 and the epic Indian total of 90 odd? Yes and epic England total of 51 odd against WI . :hysterical::haha::giggle:
Sachinism Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I seem to recall in the SA series in India just recently concluded there was an article about a groundsman being pressured by the BCCI to provide a certain sort of pitch. That is doctoring. Ever heard of home advantage? Home team has the right to have a pitch suited to their players.
satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 why is it trolling to condemn pitch doctoring? And its fine by you to give a token of appreciation to the groundsman for providing a doctored pitch...I mean ffs didn't India play about 4 spinners in that game? Didn't England play 4 seamers against WI ? So why it is not doctoring. :haha::hysterical::giggle:
satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 yet no other country does that - they just produce their native pitches - that is what home team advantage - not deliberately enhancing that advantage as much as possible. So England produced their native pitch in the Ashes 5th test :hysterical::giggle::haha:
The Outsider Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 why doesnt the bcci pay them a little more...its not like they are poor' date=' and then these easily misunderstood situations would not arise.[/quote'] The local groundsmen do not come under the direct purview of the BCCI. They are employees of the local state associations. But yeah, I agree in principle, these people should be paid better salaries specially how the BCCI ropes in foreign curators and does not ensure that the local associations pay their employees a decent amount.
vvvslaxman Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 lal' date=' first english troll that I've ever seen.[/quote'] Probably has some deep rooted connection with pakistan :winky:
satyam1729 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 why doesnt the bcci pay them a little more...its not like they are poor' date=' and then these easily misunderstood situations would not arise.[/quote'] So why is ECB not paying pietersen and Collinwood enough? Why are they playing in IPL ?
