graphic23 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Cuz ppl wont get better quality movies. Magadheera lacks a proper storyline. What made Gladiator so great was the story. The plot is very old dude. I thought it was fine. But then I'm biased. I thought the movie was entertaining. That was all.

Sean Penn won an Oscar for that, I guess. Terrific performance from Tim Robbins as well. Above all, the screenplay is just amazing. Definitely two thumbs up.

Decent story though- the book by Dennis Lehane is supposed to be good. Sean Penn is a class act. 21 Grams- great film, if a bit bleak. And of course Clint saab- Gran Torino was quality i thought.

Yeh you can kinda work out whats going on. Like the clue in the 911 call was a bit obvious. Something they should have checked out a while ago. I wouldn't call it a fluke, as its something they're supposed to do anyway.

Talking of non-linear filming,21 grams was much better than Babel. But Benicio Del Toro steals the show from Sean Penn. Benicio is another great actor, loved his acting in Traffic, Sin City and Usual Suspects.I wish to see him in a Tarantino movie. Hope you have watched Clint's Unforgiven, a master class! Gene Hackman + Clint + Morgan Freeman..enuf said.

Jason Statham has been choosing some bullcrap movies after the transporter movies.....like rouge assassin, death race and now crank. Wasted.
