youngindia Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 "and then there none"- the 1945 movie based on agatha christie's novel. theme-people get invited by a mysterious person to an island and get picked off one by one. people get suspicious of each other it was adapted three times by the same director under the ittle "ten little indians" from 60's to 90's, the setting changing to a lonely mountain or jungle or desert! there are italian and russian movie versions as well. but they didn't know about the desi copycats. gumnaam- in hindi the tamil name i have forgtten though i have seen the movie!

Dialogs in some of the scenes were not o good. Imtiaz Ali was very new those days. But apart from some of those obvious weaknesses, I think it was a very sweet love story. I loved the story and best of all, the characterizations.
