graphic23 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Lurker, I wanted to watch it as well but I heard similar replies from most people who watched it. I watched Russell Crowe's 3:10 to Yuma. Was pretty good. I liked it. 7.96/10.
Predator_05 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Watched "Iron Man" yesterday. In a nutshell, it was f ucking garbage. Reinforces my hate for all new Hollywood films, especially ones made by Marvel (the comic book rip-offs). Rehashed, predictable plot (i figured out the ending long before the stupid film even finished), shameless brand promotion (every car in the film was a f ucking Audi, every phone was an LG carried by Verizon, every computer was a Dell) and excessive use of cool, glitzy computer graphics - all done to take your mind off how stupid the acting actually was. It was like Transformers (which i have only read about and haven't seen, thank god) except with a sh ittier cast. Plus, Gweynth Paltrow is one ugly c unt. Everytime the camera closed up on her freaky, freckled, pale face, i was literally trying to stave off the vomit which my digestive system instictively piped up my throat as punishment for even thinking about seeing this film. I had to kill it with some beer. The worst part was when the black dude (chatting the usual cliched bullsh it; "daaaaaaaayum !", "dat's sooo cool", etc.) looked at the Iron Man suit and said "next time". F uck, that means everything is already being set up for a sequel and there is more of this sh it to come in the near future. BLEH. There, that was me puking out my tuna sandwich from earlier in the day, thinking about Gwyneth Paltrow's face. Couldn't hold it in this time, oops. A complete waste of $9.50. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T WATCH IRON MAN

graphic23 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Watched Iron Man. I liked it. :P I thought it was pretty good. But then my expectations were pretty low. I enjoyed it.
Guest Hiten. Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Iron man No ? That was next on my list, hmmm.... Has anyone seen '88 minutes' ? When the lead role is played by Al Pacino, do not ask questions. Just watch it. 88 minutes is a good movie, must watch
Guest Hiten. Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Harold and Kumar 2 was pretty good but I wouldn't spend $10 to watch it in a theater.
Predator_05 Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Why the hell would anyone want to watch the Harold and Kumar movie ? The entire story is given away in the f ucking title, for crying out loud. There are two dweebs named Harold and Kumar, they get arrested, they escape from Guantanamo Bay, they do some stupid sh it and the movie is over. There, i gave you the entire story and i haven't even watched it. What more is there to know ? Don't waste your money.

Ram Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Iron Man : The same ol' stereotypical super-hero Hollywood movie. I kept looking at my watch every 15 minutes. And I dunno, everyone seems too old in the movie. Robert Downey Jr. simply doesnt have the aura, Paltrow looks anemic every now and then and Jeff Bridges looks waaaaaaaay older than 58. *yaaaaaaaawnnnnnnnnnnnn*
