India were brilliant in their match against South Africa and deservingly made it to the Super Eights. They went about their job nicely. It was a performance out of the top drawer! And credit goes to Suresh Raina, who played a blinder. For me, he is the best young batsman in the world. He did well in the Indian Premier League, and is keeping up the good work in the Caribbean world championship. However, it is too early to say that he is the next Sourav Ganguly. Raina is only playing T20s at the moment, let him play Tests and score some runs, then only a comparison with the great Ganguly can be made. Having said that, there is no denying that Raina is immensely gifted. Apart from Raina, Yuvraj Singh also played a crucial innings and that's very good news for India. To me, the best young upcoming, burgeoning talents are Kieron Pollard, Mohammad Aamer, Wayne Parnell, Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina and A B De Villiers. Mohammad Hafeez, Eoin Morgan, Rohit Sharma, Angelo Mathews etc. knock on the door. But they are all promising.
