Generally what is happening back home has no effect on their performances at the international level - history shows their cricket has not been affected by the politics back home. But this time around the team has looked scratchy… IC: I am not surprised because I saw Pakistan a lot through the summer in Australia and they were terrible. Everybody has bad periods of play but they play dumb cricket as well. And if you are playing bad cricket and dumb cricket then that is a hopeless combination. A soon as I got here that is exactly what I have seen from them. Dumb and poor cricket. They make stupid mistakes at bad times. Fielding has always been a problem for Pakistan but in the past they have had so many good players like Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis who probably decided that the fielding was so bad they needed to hit the stumps and the pads. So they got around that problem. But they don't have that great ability now and they need to do everything right and they are not doing everything right. WE WERE DUMB TODAY. But the difference is we had a dumb today but have the intellegence to change it and turn it around but paks on the other hand....
