And well, this conversation is getting nowhere as you are consistently getting personal. I think we should agree to disagree and get back to discussing India's weakness at short deliveries.
You are the one who is mixing your thoery of selection bias and our uselesness as playing short delivery. Your trying to suggest that the reason India are weak against short bowling is because we have a biased selection policy towards CSK. You are trying to imply that apart from those that were picked every other Indian player is adept at playing the short pitch.

Ok fine Ijust called your fixation as absurd. But lets move on like you said. Should India be scred of Jerome taylor and KEEmar Roach cause they will definately seek to cash in on this vulnerability.' date=' Whatever the squad could have been should have been is another story we have 15 guys there and we will have to make do with them. I don't think sri lanka has the pace fire power and Malinga was never the one to bowl vicious short balls aimed for the skull but i could be wrong :dontknow:[/quote'] It was the Windies who exposed us bad last time. Until we played them, no one even knew how bad our boys were against the short ball. Since then, every time we've had a bouncy pitch, we've been targetted and we've struggled. Malinga has a good bouncer but I doubt Four overs from him, esp after Nathan McCullum's burst shattered his confidence, can do much to us. I may be wrong.

Theory of selection bias is just as obvious as our uselessness at playing the short balls. I'm trying to imply that someone picked under strange circumstances should be doing himself a favour and proving people wrong. Instead, Murali has failed twice in 2 big games. I don't doubt him in the longer format. As for Suresh, is this the way India's ONLY T20 centurion should be playing a situation like this? For God sake, had he hung on, we could've got another 20ish runs and might've got a better NRR after the game. And nothing can absolve Gauti's stupid attempt of playing baby-games with Watson and Yuvi and Dhoni's shot.

Dinesh Karthik, Nehra, Gambhir, Umesh Yadav and Sehwag was also picked - Now next you will say It is Delhi Daredevils team and not India team.

^ You are being a passionate fan' date=' just like everyone else.[/quote'] I am just trying to be reasonable my friend. Making ridiculous conspiracy theories forever without any proof whatsoever just for the sake of it is not good at all. It just displays deep rooted hatred for somebody or a group of people which you are incapable of getting rid of.

Nehra is the one of the most consistent bowlers atleast in the IPL. Gambhir has historically done a good job in this format, but according to the media, injury is still an issue for him. Umesh is maybe the fastest bowler we have in India. Sehwag is India.

Come on guys do we have to carry IPL affiliation into this. Its okay if it is just for fun. They picked the right players. Changing one or two players would not have changed the result of today's match. We sound like padosis now. Entire team had to adopt a completely different approach while chasing. Entire team needs to be blamed bar Rohit Sharma and Bhajji.
