How is this fair?

Pak has a superior RR as compared to the other two. If we win, that means both NZ and SA lose so obviously their RR would decrease much further. In the scenario that all three teams are on 2 pts after the last matche

@Preca - Why won't run rates count. In your scenario SA' date=' Pakistan & NZ would all be on 2 pts. so how does Pak go through?[/quote'] Pak, NZ and South Africe all will have 2 points each. Since Pakistan has better run rate they'll go through. These rules must be amended. Cricket is the only sport on this planet which still has loopholes which allow teams which have lost more matches than they won to get to semifinals. Shame on ICC. Booo.

What a load of **** you are acting like our parosis. Bitter and excuses. It would be you again who would have made that first group stages points should not be accumulated in the second group stage had India lost 1 match in the first group stage and there was this accumulation system.

Is that right ? How about football.. In the champions league ?

Stop embarassing yourself dude. Pakistan is the most fluke team. They won both 1992 WC and ICC T20 2009 by luck. Nobody is whining. You simply don't deserve to be in semi-finals.
Well all these luck theories make hardly any sense since rules are exactly the same for all teams in all groups of the tournament. No need to cry and complain. If you really believe that Pakistan makes it only through luck all the time, then too bad luck likes Pakistan and not your team. :--D

Pak is going thru. India will lose again because our stupid fecking captain takes 2 pace bowlers and decides to chase yet again...
Why are you guys so worried? India chances for semis look 10 times more than Pakistan. India is more likely to beat WI and SL than Pakistan beating SA.

Yeah what about it? Shame on all you who thinks am having a whine. I don't care a feck whether India or Pakistan or Australia gets benefit of this. I am just pointing out a flaw with the ICC's scheduling.

Still not fair' date=' eh Precambrian? India and Pak more or less in the same situation now in their respective groups.[/quote'] India don't deserve to be in Semis . Simple

Hate to admit it - but true (though the England defeat wasn't that close despite the eventual scoreline, but still better than our efforts :(()
