Guest OriginalPrince Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 OK. I read somewhere you claiming that Pak of 90s would thrash India. I say Sehwag would force those joke bowlers into retirement. Checked the average of Waqar, Wasim, shoaib against India. you have to consider the wickets in the subcontinent as well. i remember watching one game at perth in 99 when wasim just tore through the indian batting side. i don't know about sehwag on a fresh wicket but dravid and tendulkar will do well.

Did you watch the 2003 WC in SA ? Tendulkar finished the career of Wasim and Waqar.
Guest OriginalPrince Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Did you watch the 2003 WC in SA ? Tendulkar finished the career of Wasim and Waqar. their careers were pretty much finished by then anyway. anyway tendulkar would have survived against waqar and akram in their prime..dravid would do ok too...but the rest would just crumble imo.

Nobody would crumble. Infact Pak batsman would find it difficult to play swing of Indian bowler.

In test match you can leave short bowl. And yes best chance Pakistan have to beat India is on flat tracks where there utterly mediocre batsman can score freely with no swing in the pitch.

Against the weakest Australian side in decades. Lol India would have easily defeated that pathetic OZ side. Hell we could have defeated you in 2004, 2008 had it not been for Bucknor. Your only fluke series victory against INDIA B side in 2004 was also due to rain only.
cricket786 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 why is satyam always arguing about something related to Pakistan? keyword: always

Don't flatter yourself mate, keep making excuses.
satyam1729 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Don't flatter yourself mate' date=' keep making excuses.[/quote'] Execuses against OZ. I see OZ poster wasting their time everywhere that how India are not no.1 ? :haha::hysterical: And T20 WC final should be best of 3 :hysterical::haha:
SRT195 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Yes, well done. India has drawn three series against australia in the last 70 years. Super stuff. FTR Pakistan is just as bad as india and the other sub continental teams. Great at home but pathetic away. The only reason I respect pakistan cricket is that they seem to have had some great fast bowlers. hmmm so u respect Pakis coz of their bowling but u dont respect India inspite of the fact that we have some of the greatest batsmen for India to become consistent world no1 there is no doubt that we need to produce few good fast bowlers ... we cant rely on our batting strength all the time
coffee_rules Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Add Champions trophy to the list: Only Aus (2), WI, India, SL, NZ and SA (the first one was won by whom?) to the list.

And secondly, I didn't say that is should be a best of 3, I was just putting the idea out there. As because of the hit and miss nature of the game, it is easy to screw up in one game.. But I must say, that was a bad idea.
zen Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 Add Champions trophy to the list: Only Aus (2), WI, India, SL, NZ and SA (the first one was won by whom?) to the list. the first one was won by SL, if i remember correctly. I don't think SA has won CT You can make a separate list of title win at ICC events/rankings if you want to add CT to the list but not in my list as it's abt winning the premier title/ranking in a format and ODI WC already represents ODIs :P
achilles Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Australia has no worries in the batting or bowling departments. ponting is struggling a bit now anyway' date=' he will be missed but not by that much. just look at the australian players' performances in the ipl. there are no worries at all. infact i think IPL will help the aussie players when they come over for tests as well..[/quote'] This quote has been marked and will be reproduced every time the user tries to trash the IPL :hatsoff:
