WI was considered the undisputed test champ in 70s-80s but unfortunately ICC rankings were not in place at that time. This table only consider the official titles and rankings .... I am sure there must have been a #1 team in early 1900 too.

I even rate the pakistani side of the late 90s as being better (there's no point talking about the pak side of the early 90s- they would have blown this indian side away). NZ team in the 80s would have easily beaten them as well.

this is just trolling. pakistan of the 1990's couldn't even beat the worst indian test side of all time when they toured in 1999. they narrowly fluked a win at chennai and then got brutally f888ked at delhi. the current indian test side would pile up mountains of runs against your beloved ball tamperers.
