No money in Asian games?? What to do with a medal. Had it been an IPL like tournament the board would be willing to opt out of the world cup, leave alone Asian games. If one of India, Pakistan or SL is not partici[ating no point in including cricket.

Is it ok. For all practical purposes BCCI represents all us Indians and our nation and that is a fact. BCCI is nothing without India or us Indians. So, I wont necessarily agree. At least they could have sent an A team if not the main team. Chances of a medal win was quite high to be frank because it is quite obvious that countries like China, Hong Kong or UAE cannot compete with even our A team and it is well known. A silver medal was at least guaranteed for sure if not the gold.

Cricket is, was and will never be an Olympic game. Leave cricket alone.. Leave BCCI alone.. Indians should worry about doing well in REAL Olympic games and not not count their chicken hoping for the cricket tem to bail them out in Olympics and Asian games..Cricket is already a national passion and has pushed aside all the other games. Atleast give other games a chance to get popular by winning some medals. Imagine India not doing well in other sports in Asiad and managing to win a medal (some how) by their cricket team..Then the pressure will be again on other sports. All the other sports people and organisation, stop cribbing and complaining and do the job what they are supposed to do, now that the chance has come to excel and show the World that Indians are also good in other sports and not just Test cricket..
