And no amount of centuries against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka C is going to change that. And how did this thread turn into Umar vs. Yuvraj? I can understand your excitment at having finally discovered an international class batsman. But let the guy play few more tests and do more before putting him in the same category as Sehwag, Gambhir, Lara and Greenidge . As for reputed personalities comparing him to Sehwag, Gambhir, Lara and Greenidge, they have only compared some of his shots to these guys. Coming to comparisons with Rohit and Virat, TBH there is no comparison. Rohit and Virat are far better than Tamim in ODIs es Virat. Rohit as of now is coming off a slump, but he too will in the longer run prove to be a world class batsman with 45+ test average and 40+ ODI average. Lets see if Tamim can manage to touch 40 in tests and 35 in ODIs.

Even in the T20 world cup Umar Akmal played two brilliant knocks agaisnt South Africa and Australia where as some others teams star batsmen were doing " i don't know what" but surely not batting agaisnt the aussies.

They both play with a completely different ball and match condition so its unfair to compare one another. Tamim has been awesome top of the order, and Umar has been awesome middle of the order. I guess you can rather say in awesomeness they both tie. :winky:
