The losses estimated with India NOT touring Pak in 2009 was $40 Million. Even if it s $25 Million -- that is a sum PCB will not make -- playing all other countries IN PAK for probably 3 years. -- at least. This is what a tour of India brings to Pakis (and other nations as well).

Wahabbi oil money is what is funding these outfits..Not how much PCB makes from us playing cricket with them. It is a political statement and all I agree, but it is not going to make a difference to them(Extremists).

Man, u gotta leave the multi national tournaments alone, its not like ur gonna gain anything by avoiding a match or two every yr, u'll just end up making a fool of urself. We dont play on a bilateral basis anyways, and thats how it should be. We already made sure their players were not a part of IPL (despite some kangressis whining and all), lets not go any further than that.

India shouldnt resume cricketing ties with Pakistan ICC PRESIDENT PAWAR has spoke about resumption of india pakistan cricketing ties. First of all Pawar doesnt have any sense to talk about cricket because it was the same Pawar who helped dawood ibrahim to escape from India during 1980,s he is the same guy who helped muslim mobs to escape during mumbai riots 1993. Indians have short memory loss as we already forgotten what pakistani terrorists did on 26/11/2008 . India always been friendly to Pakistan what did we get in return? terrorist attacks , bomb blasts etc. This is the sole reason i dont want india to resume cricketing ties with pak nothing is more important than patriotism and India for once should say no to cricketing ties with Pak. FIRST Let them hand over 26/11 terrorists or conspirators then we can think about cricketing ties.

The joke of the century India afraid of a team which hasnt won test series since two years convincingly india afraid of a team which hasnt won an odi series since two years for god sake India are no.1 test & no.3 odi side they are the one of the consistent performers in test & odi cricket . India afraid of a team which constantly got beaten in every single world cup game its 6-0 2 India for India vs Pak world cup games.

Sour grapes rating means nothing just cz u r team cant win tests & odis series rankings mean nothing to u ranking shows which team has been consistent India vs Pak world cup games 6-0 2 india .

Bud rating means jack when it comes to India-Pakistan. Don't be naive and hide behind rating as it stands for nothing in our contest.
Cry some more! What the ratings says is that if the #1 side plays the #6 side in a 5 test match series, the #1 side will most likely win. Ofcourse, cricket being a sport means that the #6 side can win but not likely. What the rating means is that the #1 side has played good cricket in the last couple of years and have been the best side compared to all the other teams. The #6 rating with a 28 points difference between the next best side and just 3 points between #6 and #8 means that the #6 team has been among the worst team to have played international cricket in the last couple of years and clearly there is a huge gap between the top 5 and the rest. On topic : We shouldn't be playing them this decade

Zap: Explain it to a 2 year old -- and you will have a better chance of getting it across. Explaining it to Numb Nuts -- you will never be able to do it ! Futile effort my friend!

Fail Thread. I request the mods to close it to avoid further flaming from either side
Why should it be closed? Cos it states the tuth and ground reality. You want it closed to protect the fake image you want to perpetuate of your terrorist state. I hope the mods do not adhere to such censorship to protect pakistan image

Fail we beat you again and won the Asia Cup. Well done boys in winning cup and beating paks once again. However, does not stop the fact the we should never have played pak or play them again. When is India gonna grow some?

Well, its an extremely tough and complicated question. On the one hand, we don’t want to pretend like everything’s normal and resume sporting ties with our ‘brothers’ from across the border, even as they continue to plot and execute terror attacks in the Indian mainland. On the other hand, we don’t want to completely cut off all ties and give the image of a country that’s not willing to engage and negotiate. Both positions can be extremely counter-productive. At one end of the spectrum, we need to continue negotiating with the democratic/moderate forces within the Pakistani establishment to try and win as many concessions and assurances from them as possible. That’s just how democracy works. If you have a ‘no negotiations till all my preconditions are met’ type of position, the only thing you will end up with is limbo. If respectable name within the Pakistani govt. can verifiably assure that the Pakistani govt. is not actively pursuing terror as an instrument of state policy and if there are anti-India activities emanating from Pakistan, it is because of renegade elements within the civil/military establishment and not official, state sanctioned policy, then we should at least try to engage with them at a diplomatic level. And a big part of diplomacy is the resumption of sporting ties. Lets not forget what has happened till now – Terrorists recruited, trained, armed and financed in Pakistan came to Mumbai and killed 100s of innocent civilians in Dec 2008. Surely, at least some sections of the Pakistani establishment would have been aware that such an attack was coming. Yet, they chose to keep quiet and do nothing about it. There’s no point talking weather and cricket over a warm cup of tea with people who leave from the meeting to go prepare terror attacks against you. But, rarely does things exist in such black and white. Not all within the Pakistani establishment are criminals, not all of ‘em are saints either. We need to talk to guys who are willing to listen to us and go back and sell our talking points to their more influential powers-that-be.

don't worry KT....it's already back to pre 26/11 normalcy. Sharad pawar talking of resuming cricketing ties.... if the Srilankans were never attacked...we would have already scheduled a bilateral series by now in pakistan. Pakistani singers/actors are back in bollywood taking Indian jobs......seems like India can't live without them no matter what. Indians are born to bend over..... it's not even been 2 years! and everyone forgot everything.
