When one team scores a goal, they often play defensive (keeping possession by passing unnecessarily across their own half), totally kills the game. 2. Diving - f ucking pansies. 3. A lot of luck plays into the result of the match, especially headers from corners. The Ghana penalty kick was totally unnecesssary, there was no intent by the serbian defender to handle the ball, but still Ghana was given a free goal.

Then we have football fans, the simple minded hooligans who chant abuse at pretty much everyone buying tickets with their benefit money. Football stadiums in the UK are basically populated by the worst elements of society.

yoda Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 it's a beautiful game. non-stop action. yes scoring is rare, otherwise one of the best sport to watch especially in a tournament like the world cup. I would rate it higher than most sports including cricket.
