Lord Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 It has also been reliably learnt that the entire Indian squad got off the bus midway and ran two and half kilometers to the team hotel after defeating Bangladesh by six wickets in their tournament opener yesterday :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Fair Game Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I don't understand why he didn't want to join in training. Doesn't he want to be a cricketer because that's what cricketers do they have cricket training.
DomainK Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Nobody' date=' and i mean NOBODY can take over from Sachin.[/quote'] Of course nobody can take over from Sachin. Ever. I was talking about younger players taking over the team from the seniors.
Rajiv Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 must be just publicity nonsense.. how come no television channel filmed indian team running for 2 kilometers :hitler: Frankly, sport has become a publicity nonsense anyways..they didn't even leave a noble game like chess alone. Thankfully, it requires only one hand to play it

achilles Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Why doesn't BCCI set example by sending these 'Youngsters' back on disciplinary grounds. They sent back Irfan Pathan from South Africa, the first time in the history of Indian Cricket did something of that sort happen. Look where he is now. Solution would be catch'em young & making sure they don't lose motivation. Irfan and most of our pacers are treated like destitutes after being dropped. It doesn't help coz eventually when these guys do come back, their thought process goes- "Now I'm back. Let me play as many matches as possible and make as much money as I can. Who knows what the board will do tomorrow!"
fineleg Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Well, who is going to iron the useless Bcci & I.Pu.L 'babus' themselves? PS: Big hello to all @ICF Back from Mera Bharat Mahaan trip, & catchin' up. Hope we win against Pak, I hate that kamran dropmal, he always makes gutsy runs against us
