i really dont know if Karthik is a good choice here.he has had plenty of chances but he has never been able to put it together.we need to think long term here and promote one of the youngsters like Manish pandey.a dead rubber game would have been useful to see how he performs in an internationals game.

I really dont understand the logic in choosing Karthik, we know what he can do and he will just end up being one of those average players who comes in and out of the team and stars in no ones fantasy line up, abit like Dinesh Mongia! Instead S Tiwary (as pointed out) or even Utappha should have been picked, someone with the potential to be the next Sehway or Ghambhir.
