:WTF:why is he picked now.he was dropped from ODIs n picked in tests.clearly shows cheeka has no idea about selecting a team.this was excellent opportunity to blood Rohit in.hes looking in great touch.i hope Dhoni plays Raina over him.but its highly unlikely n wth is Buddhiman Baba doing in the team?

I think UV still deserves this shot!..maybe his last.. ..as for Saha, I mean wtf? ..for a back-up, IMHO a make-shift keeper is enuf..Utthapa anyone..gives an extra dimension!!!

However, facing the M&M's on turning wickets might be a huge challenge for UV!..let's see how he copes. I'd like to see Raina given a shot as well, probably in the third test, once we are ahead 2-0:dance:

Wriddiman Saha over Dinesh karthi :hysterical: and people complained that Srikanth had Southie bias. :hysterical: Its not one man, its the whole selection panel that is brainless. Why the feck cant they be asked to explain their Selection decisions? Sometimes I feel the Selection panel don't select the team but are just given the team and say that they have picked it.

Jesus ****ing Christ, what the hell are these moronic selectors playing at? Saha over Karthik again? It almost makes the decision to select Yuvraj after axing him for the ODI series look sensible.

Saha is a good choice for a reserve wicket keeper - this is test cricket and we cannot have goalkeepers like Karthik and Parthiv keeping in a test match. Anyone still remember the horror the duo combined to give on our last tour to Sri Lanka? Moreover, Saha is not a bad batsman at all - he did reasonably well on his debut as a batsman against a rampaging Steyn. Karthik has become a waste in the name of a wicket keeper and only supporters of Kamran Akmal would hanker to select him in a test for his supposed batting, where he attempts a reverse sweep off Murali on a turning pitch in a test! Yuvraj is an ambiguous choice, but again not something to get too concerned about. He was given the 'drop' treatment like Sehwag was a couple of years back and hopefully will put him back in shape for the series. Overall, its the best test squad to have been picked and for a change the selectors have done a good job. Vijay and Raina as reserve batsmen are also good choices though I would have preferred Sharma or Kohli over Raina.

pretty good overall, bowling looks strong the selectors repeating the same mistake of saha over kaarthick expected vijay to make it, despite his poor show (thanks to cheeka)
