The movie itself was based on a book that was written in the 1920's. I don't know what the intended message was but I took it as an exploration into the feelings of perversion and sexuality. Its just art' date=' doesn't have to carry a message :dontknow:[/quote'] just like porn then. :cantstop::cantstop: in any case, lets agree to disagree. The other films you have all mentioned are classics. No disagreement's there.

Great filmmaker. Known for attention to detail, unique visual style, use of music and getting great performances from his actors. He was a true auteur in the sense that if you watch any one of his films for a few seconds, you would know he made it because he had his stamp on all aspects of filmmaking. One of the few filmmakers in history who had the absolute freedom to make a film the way he wanted to make it. He usually spent years just in research and several years in making it. A Clockwork Orange is violent, disturbing and yet so poetic, beautiful and funny at the same time. :hatsoff: The composition of the shot, background music and the voice over comes together so brilliantly in this scene. This is cinema. HtRGeyznv7k
