I agree but I think that has more to do with the significant increase in the number of foreign professionals in county cricket.

I do not dispute the first statement, but the fact that Bopara is in the squad contradicts the second one.

Look at the bigger picture, there's Kohli & Sharma & Pujara on the sidelines for Badri in the squad. I wouldnt claim that Bopara offers that sort of potential.
