Karan114 Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 There was a certain gentleman named Duncan FLetcher in the selection panel for thw awards. Given the love he has had for Swann over the years' date=' I would not be surprised if he was the one who blocked Swann's nomination.[/quote'] Good spot :--D
achilles Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Its not lifetime achievement award. He was good in the last 12 months. He deserved to be there in the first place. I said that on the first page itself. But the manner in which he was added is disappointing. Imagine the reaction had BCCI pushed even for a deserving player.

There is no way they would have missed somebody from England so easily.

Imagine the reaction had BCCI pushed even for a deserving player. Technically, he was not added but it was an 'oversight' on the ICC's part. Its bloody obvious they cant do anything properly even something as simple as announcing a list of nominees.

Or will the thought that, he got to the list coz he was pushed by the ECB CEO, play on his mind?
