Way to deflect the point! :hysterical: But, let me humor you. Jadeja has a half decent technique with the bat. He does not have a power game yet, but with more experience he can develop that. He is a bag of nerves in pressure situations, specially his running, but again with more experience he can work on those aspects. Now can you explain the relevance of this, because even if it happens it is not happening any time in the near future, so he should be thrown out of the team because at the moment neither is he a batsman nor a bowler. He is the typical bits and pieces player who is not going to win you a match with the bat or ball.
‘Develop’ a power-game? How, using drugs? That statement doesn’t even make sense. Point me to one other player who ‘developed’ a power game… So what is the cut-off for Jadeja to stop ‘being a bag of nerves in pressure situations’? 50 games? 100 games? So lets see – You cannot point to any worthwhile innings Jadeja has played so far in his 18 month/ 35 match long career. You don’t foresee a turnaround in the next 12 months either. But you do expect things to change after that? And why is that? And I dare you, quote me one post of mine where I say I want Jadeja in the team. That is an obvious mis-representation of position (just like how you said y’day I wanted Jadeja to bowl during the death overs. I never said that either). I have been criticizing his batting for months now, calling for a more accomplished bat at no.7. In fact, here’s the team I want india to field during the WC, which I posted even until a week ago, Jadeja is only 4th choice specialist spinner, after Bhajji, Ojha and Ashwin. Sachin Sehwag Gambhir Yuvraj Raina Dhoni Rohit/Uthappa/Karthik/Kohli Bhajji Ashwin Zaheer Khan Nehra/Praveen Kumar http://indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=235164 I have NEVER campaigned for Jadeja’s inclusion in the team. I have debated only the rationale behind his current continous inclusion.

Which was he is being played more as a speciialist spinner :hysterical: And your point abt going in w/ only 2 seamers for the WC has been thrown out already (along w/ your unfair compariison of ER of seamers vs spinners)

^ He has already reached that cut off point and you must be blind or dumb not to see that I have been asking for him to be chucked out of the team. Your 'rationale' is equally dumb to say he is in the team as a bowler, for as I've said there are half a dozen better spinners than him in the country. He is in the team for his non existent all round skills and should be given the chop. But good that you agree on him being dropped. I finally managed to drill some sense into you.

So much for the drilling part. I have long been criticizing his batting, even before you guys brought the issue up. You obviously cannot differentiate b/w ‘Ok, this is why I thin he’s in the team’ and ‘I want him in the team..’.. Not my fault brother..:hysterical: And if you really think I have been actively supporting Jadeja’s inclusion in the team, quote me one, just one post of mine where I say I want him in team. I have already posted a quote of mine where I clearly state that I don’t see him to be part of a WC winning team. Lets talk after that. I cannot defending positions of mine that you simply made up in your own mind.

^ So without having watched Ashwin perform at the international level for any decent period of time' date=' he is India's savior for the World Cup? :hysterical:[/quote'] Stop dithering Mr. :winky: Once again, you said I wanted Jadeja in the team. Where have I said that? We’ll deal with Ashwin once you’ve shown me that you have basic comprehension skills to differentiate b/w these two statements Statement 1: This is why I think Jadeja is in the team Statement 2: I want him in the team going forward Go on, I am listening.

Well you were blabbering about 2 spinner and 2 seamers in some other thread and defended Jadeja over Ojha and Mishra quoting how Jadeja has performed in some really hostile conditions, so I put 2 and 2 together to assume that your second spinner would be Jadeja. Never thought you would outdo yourself and pick Ashwin over everyone and put him in the World Cup team without having watched him perform at the international level.:hysterical:

Next time, stop assuming and start reading.. :hysterical: Good, now that you’ve accepted that effed up on that one, lets move on to the next one. Where did I say I wanted Jadeja to bowl in the death overs?

So I’ll take it from you that Economy rates DON’T MATTER at all, when you select players for your bowling line-up. But let me humor you a little bit more.. So here’s Jadeja versus Rest of Indian spinner*, since the time he made his debut; *minimum qualification – 5 matches

Bowler	Average	Economy
Bhajji	32	4.96
Jadeja	41.55	4.84
Yusuf	35	5.92
Mishra 51.5 4.97
Ojha 25 4.25

Ojha's numbers are incredibly skewed by the fact that he did not figure in a SINGLE match in our previous three home ODI series, a time during which our bowlers went for astronimical number of runs and also constitute nearly 40% of Jadeja's career numbers. Yes, lets drop the bowler who has the best Economy rate among all our bowlers to have played the most number of ODIs in the last 18 months.. :hysterical:

Once again, you said I wanted Jadeja in the team. Where have I said that?
- First, the kid tries to show how stupid dropping Jadeja would be (a specialist spinner according to him). So if you don't want him dropped, you want in the team - then when he is busted, he tries to show he never wanted Jadeja in the squad (how believable :P) - Then he includes Aswin as he is not originally in the list where he showed Jadeja to have a better ER I haven't seen someone get busted like this in a long time :hysterical:

^ Morris Pwned like a Paki! :hysterical:
Lol, here we go again. Statement 1: Ok, I think this is the reason why I jadeja is in the team. He has done well when compared to other spinners. Statement 2: I want the entire structure of the team to be revamped. Our batting needs to be strengthened and I don’t have a place for Jadeja in that team.. And If you think those two statements are NOT mutually exclusive, you need to have your head examined.. Now you tell me the part where i purpotedly asked for him to bowl in the death..
Posted
What does this statement mean
Good, at least you have started reading and stopped assuming and making artificial stuff in your head. There’s a start. :hysterical: And once again, if you cannot differentiate b/w the ‘This is why I think Jadeja is in the team in its current structure ahead of his compeitiors and I I support that’ and ‘We need to revamp our team. And in that revamped team, I don’t see a place for him..’ that’s EPIC :fail:

That statement clearly means that you do not want him dropped which implies you want him in the team. There is no 'this is why Jadeja is in the team' in that statement. If you can't own up to what you write there really is no point. :giggle:

This is another gem! So you want to drop someone who has done well compared to all other spinners! :hysterical:

Seriously, is reading comprehension issues that deep? Let me break it down for you Scenario 1; Jadeja’s a better spinner than people give him credit for. In the team’s current structure, I support him, ahead of Yusuf, Powar, Mishra and (slightly) over Ojha. Scenario 2; The team needs to be revamped going forward. We need to play 7 batsmen and 2 spinners and 2 pacers. My two spinners will be Bhajji and Ashwin. I don’t how I could possibly make it any simpler. :giggle:

Yes, the other here refer to Yusuf, Mishra, Ojha and your favorites, Powar and Chawla. And please keep reading and find out if I mentioned Bhajji and Ashwin in those comparisons..:hysterical:

Forget the scenarios and vistas, just explain in simple English what does this sentence mean :

Yes, lets drop the bowler who has the best Economy rate among all our bowlers to have played the most number of ODIs in the last 18 months..
