Ind, atm, is 175/5, with over 15 overs to go. As we know, this game is like a SF. Jadeja is in. This is a big opportunity for Jadeja. Will he deliver today? By that I mean at least stay till 45 overs or score a 50. Get your opinion rolling!

zen Posted August 25, 2010 Author Posted August 25, 2010 Dhoni departs in the 38th over. Now Jadeja has 11 overs to manage with the tail. This is a good test for the suitability of a #7. If he lasts till 45-46 overs that would be good but if he can play out till the end then that would be great. Also he is the lone specialist spinner, so a lot of things he has to look forward to.

He's not a batsmen, he's there primarily for his controlled bowling, reasonable fielding and the fact that he can hang around with the bat. It's infuriating to know that today was one of those days when a better no7 could have taken the responsibility and propelled to us to a 250-260 total. Not to be....
