asterix Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 I'm sorry to say this (and this is not an Anti-Pak rhetoric), but their Cricket has also become a liability just like their own country to whole World. This World coould've been such a better place without them..This World doesn't needs them or deserves them.
putrevus Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 After following the ICC press conference, it's pretty clear to me that the ACSU is a dysfunctional department sponging off money from the ICC and doing nothing. They are very lucky that this has become a criminal case and all of them are hiding behind the "ongoing investigations". ***ers have not idea about the scale of the betting problem, has no proper system in place to screen and monitor players and agents, have already got over scandals like Sydney test..have no effing idea that some of the recent Asian cup matches were fixed..They are just happy sponging off ICC and doing nothing other than 'educating' player about what to do and not to do.. you are in charge of ACSU what would you have done, that unit is set up only to investigate after something happens, it cannot prevent anything from happening . PCB is main reason why all these things are happening, if they had punished their players earlier for their crimes, others would have thought twice to do things like this but PCB instead of punishing protects its players so players don't have any fear of getting caught they know pcb will protect them. Even now that clown HC is acting as if this also scam to indict their players and ICC is acting upon BCCI request to suspend their players. This Idiot HC wants to make it India Pakistan Issue so they can conveniently divert it from main issue . This is same PCB who after lahore attacks went to public saying well If we can't host any matches due to terrorism , why is India hosting WC they also have terrorism. what else can you expect from these low lifes.
putrevus Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 IPL /BCCI should sue that reporter who asked this question.I am not a great fan of BCCI/IPL but if v can get an opportunity to slap these idiots for unnecessarily dragging IPL/BCCI' date=' we should make sure we kick them otherwise these idiots would continue to mudsling on indians.[/quote'] I seriously think these idiots either they are too intelligent for their own good or they just don't have anything up there. If I was attending that conf , I would have slapped that idiot for asking that question.
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 But don't the ACSU has some standard checklist or parameter which has to be complied with like say any Anti-Doping monitoring body? If individual boards are not complying with then they can be reported back to ICC so that these issues are discussed and resolved at the highest level and these reports are analysed by other boards before finalising any FTP with these rogue boards? The helplessnesss I saw of ICC and ASCU gives me a feeling that they are not at all in control abd are actually at the mercy of bookies, players and boards.. Ofcourse they do. But what can the ASCU do when they CLEARLY say no mobile phones in the dressing room and you have cheaters doing this in a live cricket match just before he's about to go play? http://cricket.zeenews.com/Image/2010/6/16/eafwefwe.jpg It's also up to the country's board to take action first. The ASCU have reports on incidents, had Majid under suspicion, told the PCB to stop it's players from associating with this agent BUT THEY STILL DID IT ANYWAY and has the PCB done anything about it? No, they're hiding like a bunch of little pussies behind the Pakistan high comission in London because guys like Ijaz Butt get fired all the time. You CAN'T expect rules and regulations to be enforced and followed from a thieving, corrupt, incompetent organization. All you can do is fine/ban them and that's what's happening with these cheating thugs. Pakistan cricket is ALREADY irrelevant. No home matches, no matches against India, they can't host the world cup. Right now minnows like Bangladesh/Ireland have more respect and credibility than Pakistan.
jaggadaku Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Pakistani HC is putting all blame on Sharad Pawar, claiming it was Pawar who ordered Lorgat to suspend innocent Pakistani players
putrevus Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Ofcourse they do. jaggadaku Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 They keep pointing fingers at so called Indian bookies but conveniently overlook the fact that king of betting mafia is the royal guest of Pakistan, of course there is no proof that he actually lives their :winky:
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 where is this clown Ijaj Butt why is he hiding now' date=' he spouts all nonsense when it is not required but when it is needed he is hiding behind another fricking clown HC.[/quote'] Butt his doing what every other PCB chairman has done before him and that's trying to save his job. There already have been numerous calls from ministers/politicians and lobbyists back in pak to replace this board. He's no doubt been told to shut up, go back to his cage and let the politicians like the HC deal with it and make it a political issue by mudslinging on the IPL/Pawar and BCCI. These people may be corrupt, but they aren't stupid. They know that they can change and influence boards to try and bring back cheats like Assif all while playing the sympathy card of players trying to buy generators for their poor villager friends. It's only the sane people like Rameez Raja, Imran Khan who aren't babbling this conspiracy/innocent nonsense and they've shut up now because they know there's no point defending the undefensible. Meanwhile the PCB has no problems letting a known ball/pitch tamperer lead the national side in Afriditard. Well, at least that's some progress. Changing the captain from a match/spot fixer to a ball tamperer!
Gunner_Mania Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Ofcourse they do. Man so mny things happen with these guys its hard to keep track of anything.

"ulta chor kotwal to dante" applies to these guys the best as soon as they get caught doing something , they start to blame everyone else except themselves. That attitude is ingrained in their blood only solution to this is just ban their whole team from playing anywhere anymore.
Hindustani Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Doesn't matter, who was the buyer, what matters is, who got sold. Pakistani players were there in market to be sold all the time and if it hadn't been majeed, some Mohammed or Manjeet or Mike would had bought them. There was a post few days back where someone had made an excellent analogy that Bangaldeshi Cricketers complaint to ICC about bookies approaching them because they didn't had to buy generators back home unlike Pakistani cricketers :)
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I'm pretty sure some distant 5th cousin's brother in law's sister's uncle lives in some poor village in UP in India. On my way home tonight, I guess I'll hold up a bank and steal 50 thousand pounds so that I can buy a generator for that poor 5th cousin's brother in law's sister's uncle. Maybe I can even get this clown Hasan from the HC to defend me.
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Haroon Lorgat today on cricinfo: I would always do what is the right thing. We would not take any actions if we did not have sufficient claims, we would have to manage commercial partners. On the other hand, the right thing to do is to charge the players because we have got sufficient evidence. These players ARE HISTORY!!!
putrevus Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 what is with this clown Harsha bhogle it could happen in India also , http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/475604.html well harsha so it cant happen in Australia , south africa and england why only India, guys like this are bane for Indian cricket.why are we so self deprecating and there was no need for him to come with column like that.

Self loathing at its best. Some one explain to him John Higgins, Matt Le Tissier and Bruce Grobellar
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I have to say I'm quite impressed by the ICC/ACSU's efforts. Yes, they didn't expose the initial issue but since then: 1. They forced the PCB to drop/ban these players from selection for the rest of the tour. 2. Now they've slapped around the PCB some more and levelled the charges and provisionally banned these players with a full hearing where the evidence/charges will be brought. It's the right way to deal with these clowns.

Didnt make any sense to me. What exactly is he trying to say? It seems like he wrote it when he was just piss drunk and blabbering on something incoherent.
Fontaine Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Pakistan don't need to worry at all. There's a brand new sponsor ready to provide not just FULL kits, but also free accomodation, food and drink for these players!!
yoda Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Harsha is cr@p. You don't need to read his writing to know that. :hehe:
