Xfactor Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Hi folks, Xfactor here, this is my first post in this forum. Currently in Hyderabad, keen supporter of the Indian team. Usually I try to watch as many matches as I can squeeze in. Its dropped down steadily over the years unfortunately. However I keep track of the teams progress, and feel that the Indian team is in the cusp of a fairly long period of dominance in the international scene. Am a big fan of fast bowlers, and am one who is desperately praying for a genuine super-quick bowler to join the Indian team. Malcolm Marshall is one bowler I admired in my playing days. Currently enjoy watching Sehwag, Laxman and Tendulkar bat. Also mighty impressed with what the new ball attack has been doing so far. Pet peeve perhaps is of the BCCI scheduling too many meaningless ODIs and not focusing enough on test matches. Nothing like a test match played between two competitive teams in a sporting track. Thats from me, look forward to contributing to the forum. I usually dont post a lot though. :-)

devla Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 All - I used to post on the "other" site regularly and used to hang out in Varun's chat too :) I'm on the other side of other side of 30. Gosh, getting old now. I live in NY. Played cricket for school and college (not university - which in Baroda is one step before Ranji). One of my school team-mates did play Ranji for Baroda. Ask away.
The Outsider Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 ^ Yup, I remember you devla......welcome!

ketansingh Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hi, My name is Ketan and I am from London. Here is a bit about myself. I am a sales professional working for a well known IT re-seller company. Unfortunately I am still single (but looking) and my interest in cricket started after watching the Natwest final (Ganguly shirt off one) between England and India. Before that all I heard about cricket was that India lost to Pakistan because I went to school in a majority pakistani area. Very happy to see that things are now different and I wish the Indian cricket team and Indian cricket fans all the best. Excellent site with a nice community spirit and I am very happy to join you all.

VVS Laxman is an all time great who deserves to be in the ODI team. As far Kaif hes just not good enough. Limited talent. Btw what was the smilie for?:winky:

Personally, I am a Tamilian born in Srinagar, J&K, moved to Delhi then to Jaipur and onwards and then finally settled in Bangalore. Monstous cricket fan; have watched now for almost 20 years.
