I actually agree with you here. There is no evidence in media so far to claim anything.
Really? So ICC does not have as much common sense as you and me and are just wasting resources investigating stupid claims without any substance?

Do you know what resources they have and the nature of the info ? It may be substantial, may not be. But for my money if I don't know the exact nature of the predictions, I will not start taking positions on this issue. ICC is investigating and we will wait for its verdict, but the thread has already labelled the Pakis. which I do not agree with.

I don't think its right to be taking positions. But we can't really say that all the arguements are completely BS. But the baffling thing would be that inspite of so much already happening these things can be attempted(if the allegations are true i.e).

We dont know the nature of the predictions, but seems whatever evidence is there, ICC is taking it seriously.

unlike pakistan where media can write whatever they want and get away with it, in the UK you write ***** without any credible source you cant publish something so huge against a national side, yet not once have a heard any talk about taking notw or even sun to court. The way that butt was defending suspected trio in my mind there was no doubt he himself is involved with fixing, infact i woudnt be surprised if his reason to visit India was to pay off pawar

I don't give a s@#$ of Pak. media. Just because they are losing it, doesn't mean we have to. If and when things come out we will know. But got to say, I love the roles Indian posters are playing here and other forums. Pak. is like padosi which has the most disfunctional family which fights withing itself or with its neighbours time and again and has become a nuisance in the society. While Padosi is trying to deal with its rotten reputation and as things keep going from bad to worst ,now they are in danger ofl losing their house with the society getting fed up of their theatrics. While, they claim conspiracy blaming almost everything under the sun but themselves, we are trying to persuade or hammer into them their culpability and how much they deserve it.

The ICC chief executive, Haroon Lorgat, said: "A source informed the Sun newspaper that a certain scoring pattern would emerge during certain stages of the match and, broadly speaking, that information appeared to be correct." http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/sep/18/pakistan-cricket-team-spot-fixing It looks pretty clear at this stage - there definitely were irregularities. This does not mean, however, that this is only a Pakistani problem. The bookmakers in question were based in India. The cases of Hansie Cronje and Mohammed Azharuddin shows this is an international problem - who knows how many players have actually been entrapped by the Indian bookies? One thing is clear - the sooner gambling is legalised in India and Pakistan the better the activities of the bookmakers can be regulated legally. Until that happens, the Asian passion for gambling will not find legal outlets and will be compelled to go undergound with the consequences we see and which could be far worse than we ever imagined.

Actually the report in THE SUN is very confusing.I dont have any idea whats going on. As expected the pakis have started their blame game on BCCI and Indian conspiracies to defame the RESPECTED paki team. :hysterical:
