fineleg Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 India cannot outlaw a religion or forcibly convert religions. Not gonna happen, we are a secular state. What we can ask for is punishment of ppl using violence. Yes, we dont ask for secession. While asking for that may be ethical question, taking violence is the main crime there. ps: If your whole intent is to prove percentages or prove a point by picking on those, you are missing the forest for the trees.

Even if Muslims are in majority in Kashmir, they still can play victim card while just imaging the plight of Kashmiri Pundits. Maybe i have missed it but why everybody, including Hindus are always talking about the plight of kashmiris? I don't hear them say anything in support of Kashmiri Pundits who are living as refugees in their own country for ages and have not protested in a voilent way anytine, as far as I know. Why? O Why? Where are those "good" muslm people and leaders who can take lead and lend support to kashmiri Pundits? If they start doing that, then I think people will think of not generalising them. Where are the Muslim leaders? Why it's always the "duty" of Hindus to do things in the "right way". Why can't they, for once, claim that they too are victim? Nobody is asking to banish the Kashmiri muslims. If they don't know how to live within the Indian constitution (like other Hindu majority states are and allow other communities to live peacfully in the state then let the Indian Govt. control the affairs.
