Those should be much more disconcerting if ur an Indian. 1) When you say "never notice", who are you referring to ? The media or me. 2) Both are disconcerting except that one action is actually validated by the sharia law while other is overwhelmingly condemned by civilized society. I don't see it as an issue of nationality. I see it as a human issue. And even as an Indian one should be concerned about the incident with fringe groups asking for sharia law.

Indeed, no body is interested in knowing what taliban does and believes in. They aren't human at all. But it is about time our views change about woman as we are human. Rapes, tortures against teen aged girls is so common these days especially in the north is shocking.
