Why the hell do all the bad umpiring decisions always go against a team playing Australia ?

Australia is not even close to being the best test team in the world today - At one point, the argument was that since they are far and away the best, umpires feel " safe" to have a decision go their way. But that does not hold true anymore. Why the $%^& do even umpires from the countries that are their strongest traditional rivals like Eng and NZ favour Aus ?

Unless of course you subscribe to the scandalous conspiracy theories that all umpires, even the now non-Australian ones who stand in their test matches, are biased towards them, then this notion that they get the rub of the green when it comes to umpiring decision is mere perception. But sadly for passionate fans like us, perception is often times reality.

I stopped watching just towards the end of the second session so missed the following when Hussey was given LBW. Was it a fair decision?

SOB Billy Bowden gave away 4 byes, 2 times when Hussey and Twatson din't attempt to even play a shot and the ball missed everything. I remember Lal saying how the hell do you give 4 byes there.

I think Billie Cowdung is blatantly cheating. I did not watch ball by ball, but I remember the ball from Ishant, where he had a decent appeal for an LBW, and Cowdung took forever to declare it no-ball - which was clearly not one. I doubt how one can go so much wrong for over-stepping. For a swinging ball, LBW, one still has lot of parameters to evaluate, but for Overstepping its relatively simple - and looked like he cheated there. For Gambhir's LBW too - there was very thick edge, any umpire w/o bias would have taken time to think over it, or referred it - but Cowdung was too quick to send Gambo off. For once - I hate intelligence of Senior players - if it is correct that they are responsible to keep UDRS out. Hawkeye or Hotspot, UDRS still can serve better than such blatant bias.

India should not b*tch since they turned down UDRS. What about Dravid, Sehwag and Raina? Dravid hanging out his bat AGAIN........and Raina and Sehwag are clearly uncomfortable with the short ball. Everything is falling in place. Once Sachin goes tomorrow, so will India's hopes.
