Are we getting better and better in 4th innings

Chased against England, chased against SL, chased against Australia successfully. We batted out 180 overs in NZ to draw the test. I think it will influence toss decisions from opposition captains.

I think the key has been positive batting from our guys. Most of them are stroke maker and as soon as they start playing their shots, opposition captain spread the field, less ppl in attacking position and less chance of getting out. They have learnt from their mistakes.

And again. A fifth chase of over 200 on the subcontinent in the last three years - tremendous stuff. By the way, in each of those five chases, SRT has featured as one of the two top scorers. But mashallah choking selfish midget can't play in the fourth innings!

3 of the top 8 chases all time by anyone in history - India have done this in the last 3 consecutive tests :woot: Mashallah to MSD for losing the tosses

I never thought I would see the day when we would be the best 4th innings batting side in the world:dance: After witnessing Barbados in 98, Sydney 2007 (credit to Mr. Bucknor as well) and various other collapses in the 4th innings whether chasing a win or trying to bat out the day, it's such a pleasant surprize. It's 5.25 AM EST and the all-nighter has been totally worth it
