Maybe you should steal a car and do kabzaa on a home as well, since the excuse of not being able to afford something seems to be good enough to take possession of it. :icflove:

Seems so! In my last trip to India I met a bunch of folks and all had pirated OS and software. Kinda' crazy. Its one thing to use freeware, but the piracy in India for software is astonishing. Andy - Use AVG or Avira. They are good, and free. Will work well for you. Also, the MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) has been getting good reviews. One of these will suit you.

If you want free AV then I might have advised for Comodo firewall + antivirus .. this security suite works best amongst the free ones. It is quite light too although it has also got a firewall with the antivirus. http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/ If you are using a genuine version of Windows, then you might go for the Microsoft Security Essentials from the Microsoft website. I am using MSE and it is really awesome protection and it is improving day by day. Though it is a free security site officially by Windows but it works better in Windows OS than most established paid security suites from other vendors. And it is very lightweight and integrates with Windows OS without any problem at all. The best suite IMO if you are using a genuine version of Windows. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ Works with Windows 7, Vista and XP
