CSK Fan Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The moment he slowed down in the 80s we all knew he was aiming for a double.. He slowed down because he was playing for the end of the day and not because of his 200. He does that always towards the end of any session, particularly the last ine, no matter what his score is

You can tell by just watching Sach setting himself up whether he’s just playing it ball-by-ball or planning on a extended stay at the crease. One day 3, just seeing the way he went into cruise mode after the rollicking start he got in the first hour, it was obvious that he felt that him getting a 100 alone wouldn’t be enough, he needed to get a big one. And how right he turned out to be, seeing the way the team collapsed after he was dismissed. I am 100% convinced that had Sachin been dismissed for a 110, 115 score, we would have been dismissed 150 runs short of the aussie total as well.
Ram Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 At the end of Day 2 SRT was 44*' date=' how would he be playing for close in the 80's[/quote'] I think he means end of first session on day 3.
CSK Fan Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 At the end of Day 2 SRT was 44*' date=' how would he be playing for close in the 80's[/quote'] I thought he meant 180. I didnt see Sachin slowing down in the 80s much
