Tests: Ind to finish 2010 as #1 team

Per yours truly calculations! I guess, Ind would be #1 when it goes to SA. No matter what happens in SA, the rankings won't change till the series ends in Jan 2011 (iirc the dates) so Ind would have have been #1 for the whole 2010! In Nov, we would be completing 1 year at the top! My gut feeling tells that Ind will still be #1 after the series in SA so if that's the case, it will pick up another ICC award for being #1 as on April 2011. (Note: Feb to April is WC time so whoever is #1 at the end of Ind-SA is likely to get that ICC award!) Ind :hatsoff:

i just read that Kirsten's contract will end after the WC.are we going to resign him or is he going back to SA?.I imagine he would be the prime candidate for the SA coach.

I am really looking forward to the elusive series win in SA and Aust. I am sure tht Dhoni ke sher will be able to do it. I would take tht over WC win.

Me too. If forced to choose only one, definitely Test series win in SA. That will be more than a dream come true!

This all ranking hype is pretty useless if you cannot win or at least perform well in WC.
