King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 first take ur head outta ur butt... then come up with conclusions like that. Pathan is same as Jadeja with bat. Handy no more.
Lord Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 World cup is to be held in India. Jadeja will have conditions to help. Crapthan would get smoked in any conditions(unless trees growing on track and cloud conditions) let alone in India. He would go for 8 or 9 an over in India would would?how do u know for sure? Jadeja will most probably bowl economically, but wont pick up wickets,we need our spinners to attack, not contain.
King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 would would?how do u know for sure? Jadeja will most probably bowl economically, but wont pick up wickets,we need our spinners to attack, not contain. Fine replace him with another spinner who will be as economical and will take more wickets. What has Crapthans cannon fodder 78 mph lollipops got to do with anything?
someone Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 People who talk about batting are very wrong. Jadeja has a much better record than IP. It clearly shows this guy can bat and be better at it. Now the next thing is ability to handle pressure. First, this guy is a young player and when you talk about pressure, exactly who plays well in pressure, even the great SRT has a history of failing when we find ourselves in a tough situation. So Jadeja is better than him .
saneindian Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 yeah better bowler, not likely to get smoked, like vvslaxman reffered to a game against Aus.:giggle: Jadeja's played most of his matches on spin friendly tracks, yet has horrible numbers, cant remember him winning a game for us Irfan, wen played in helpful conditions in SA,won the T20 cup for us. agreed who said hes Kapil Dev?stop dreaming? he has the abilty to slog which Jaddu lacks, also Jaddu cracks under pressure, where Irfan is more likely not to Irfan Pathan is unfit and the chances for him playing in the WC are nearly gone now especially as he will miss most of the ongoing domestic season.
King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I called it very early about how poor crapthan was. I used to get slaughtered. I was correct. Same thing happened with kaif. I used to hammer him despite his fan club getting upset. Proved correct. Crapthan first and foremeost has to bowl tight and bowl his fair share of overs to get selected. Batting is a bonus. His bowling will get smoked and hauled of after 4 overs. No point in picking him. His bowling is just so poor
cowboysfan Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Fact:Irfan has really pissed off someone high up in BCCI.he will never play for india again. /thread.
Lord Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Fine replace him with another spinner who will be as economical and will take more wickets. What has Crapthans cannon fodder 78 mph lollipops got to do with anything? because we need an allrounder at no.7.cant have 5 bowlers. n Irfan bowls 78 mph lollipops,so does Praveen Kumar, both wont get swing for long in Indians conditions
Sid Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 whether it is world cup thread,or rfan pathan thread ,jadeja's legendery deeds always help him to become the focal point of that thread:hail:,this young man has something in him, ALL HAIL SIR JADDU:hail:
someone Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Fact:Irfan has really pissed off someone high up in BCCI.he will never play for india again. /thread. I can clearly see how blinded are many of you with so many posts appearing to defend him and if you would have read my first post, you would not have posted that. Either give some proper reasons to say he should play or just keep quiet.
VRV Singh Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Pathan is same as Jadeja with bat. Handy no more. Agree with your assessment of Jadeja's bowling as superior to IP. However this bit is nonsense...Pathan for one thing can score at more than a run a ball and clear the infield. And you can't be a mug with the bat with 12 50+ scores in intl cricket. However on the whole there's just no point having him in there, his bowling's more likely to get smoked than not and his wicket tally will get boosted by miscued slogs at the end, after bowling turd previously
King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 because we need an allrounder at no.7.cant have 5 bowlers. n Irfan bowls 78 mph lollipops,so does Praveen Kumar, both wont get swing for long in Indians conditions Crapthan is not an allrounder. His bowling is poor and his batting is poor. The fact we need an all rounder does not mean you shove crapthan in to the role even though he is poor Please dont compare Kumar to crapthan. That is disgusting on Kumar who is a skilled bowler. You are being intellectually dishonest in comparing the two. Are you now saying crapthan can be picked on his bowling alone and should open the bowling?:((
Chaos Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 even king tendulkar can be a better cricketer than jaddu (even tho everyone knows how *****y KT is at cricket ;) ).

And you can't be a mug with the bat when you have scored a double century and have 4 50s in 30 matches as compared to Pathan 5 50s in 110 matches. Check both of their batting records and there is clearly one winner.!!!!!!!!!!!! Secondly, this is completely wrong and unfair to discredit him for any of his good performances by saying it was opponents fault rather than his work.
King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 even king tendulkar can be a better cricketer than jaddu (even tho everyone knows how *****y KT is at cricket ;) ). So Jaddu is rubbish. So you want Jaddu dropped. Fair enough I am no fan of him either. But this is were you lose the plot. You want pants jaddu dropped but then you want to replace him with an even more awful Crapthan. Its like someone demanding the dropping of one of our batters and asking for him to be replaced by Kaif.
King Tendulkar Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Jadeja in his defence has bowled well in last 12 months. The stats back this up. Capable of keeping it tight. If he could eat meat for a month he could improve his power hitting. Look how well he does considering he is malnutritioned, just imagine how well he wiould do if he gets 3 square meals a day! I back Jadeja as he has come form the slums to the india team. Lets get behind slumdog Jadeja!

The fact we need an all rounder does not mean you shove crapthan in to the role even though he is poor so what to do?who do we have at no.7?Bhajji?or a batsman who may end up playing 2-3 overs n not bowl at all? Please dont compare Kumar to crapthan. That is disgusting on Kumar who is a skilled bowler. You are being intellectually dishonest in comparing the two. Are you now saying crapthan can be picked on his bowling alone and should open the bowling?:(( not knocking PK.just replying to your constant mention of Irfan's pace implying pace doesnt matter. PK sure is a skilled bowler, but he too depends on swing, there isnt gonna be any swing on flat decks of India.check his E/R,it is nearly 6

I'm sorry, even by statistics, if you're trying to say Jadeja's a more effective international batsman than Pathan then this is just not worth it. I would be very surprised if many of his innings actually had much point to them other than to fill the quota of overs 2nd bit, to be clear I was talking about IP. That's why everyone's hesitant to pencil him in at no.7, inevitably we'd need at least a few overs out of him which have more potential than most to go horribly wrong

That's why everyone's hesitant to pencil him in at no.7, inevitably we'd need at least a few overs out of him which have more potential than most to go horribly wrong Look, Fact : Jadeja can bat as seen from his domestic records which is better than Pathan Fact: Jadeja has not done much in batting. But even your IP has not done much in batting. His record shows that. He has been given 4 times as many chances as Jadeja. But more importantly, he was given an opportunity to flourish at no.3 or go batting early on, this is where Pathan got his so called name for his batting. Has Jadeja got any chance to do so? Secondly, one player has been on a decline, rarely plays versus a player who was already decent and is only improving in both batting and bowling. The answer is very simple
