Andy Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 For spawning such a lazy **** who would go on to captain India and live off the laurels of other players. He played politics with everyone in the team including SRT. Total kameena. :hysterical::yay:

fineleg Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 For such a lazy.... He played politics . True that. One very lazy batsman and wanted to chill rather than take part in team exercises and will be late for team practice.

urbestfriend Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 SG might have played politics but who cares? Its the result that matter..! All great men , including Mahatma, have played politics to achieve their means...Nothing wrong in that :dontknow:
jf1gp_1 Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Gangulys legacy is the belief he installed in not just the men who played with him but every single future cricket that no matter how bad the match condition if its mathamatically possible to win then ill go for a win
Andy Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 True that. One very lazy batsman. Sourav Ganguly was payed by Bookie in 2003 wc Final to win the toss and Bowl first against Australia. He was a Fixer too in case many doesnt know.
fineleg Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 ^ I'm not sure if thats always true, but he was a positive captain (relative to some indian captains) and kudos to him for that.
urbestfriend Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Andy is pissed :D , There'll be protests in Kolkota against fineleg :cantstop:
Andy Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Andy is pissed :D ' date=' There'll be protests in Kolkota against fineleg :cantstop:[/quote'] No Not at all. And Kolkata has moved on long back. We are Indians first.
urbestfriend Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 No Not at all. And Kolkata has moved on long back. We are Indians first. Indeed, Kolkota has moved on after Gangu dada retired :--D

He was a Fixer too in case many doesnt know. I agree with that. I have suspicions about him asking bowlers to bowl crap so that australia could score 350+. Bookie agent was obviously Mongia who couldn't bat for crap but was still in the team.
Andy Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 ^ I'm not sure if thats always true' date=' but he was a positive captain (relative to some indian captains) and kudos to him for that.[/quote'] Not just that he fixed the Sydney test in 2004 too. He was pretty regular in that job since 2004. And he instructed Dravid to declare when SRT was on 193 in Multan. Sala maha Haramkhor tha. BCCI are bunch of fools, dont know why they called him for SA tour in 2006 and Continued playing him despite Hard Hiting and Super Talented Batsmen like Yuvraj kept waited. Good that he has been kicked out, am working hard if we can put him under the same bracket as Khajurruddin another Match fixer. He always Got away Due to Kolkata and Bengalis, Had he been in the shoes of Khajuruddin he would have been sentenced for Life Time ban. Lucky as he is always for Being from Kolkata . BCCI is scared of Kolkata and its people.
Andy Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Indeed' date=' Kolkota has moved on after Gangu dada retired :--D[/quote'] Yes, 2 years span is a long time.

fineleg Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 Would it be an under-statement if I say ganguly singlehandedly fracked up VVS's career? Did he really deserve to bat a notch higher than the talisman? He did more than that to VVS. Completely messed with VVS' career and considered it as part of politics or perhaps 'misplaced' strategy. And today VVS is still batting superb. Justice served :two_thumbs_up: Oh, not just that - I've heard he tried to mess Murali Kartik too. But not much evidence for that, but quite a few reports that he messed M.K.'s career. Dont know the exact details on that one.

Did he really deserve to bat a notch higher than the talisman? Averages 86.50 at number 7, and 51.89 at number 6 :hmmm: Also averages 47 and 28 at no.3 and as opener.

And that's exactly why Murali Kartik is playing for KKR now :giggle: He played most of the matches under gangs only.
