ZodiaC Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Time for Dhoni to opt out as well..Why bother playing a meaningless ODI when the Aussies see the Sheffield Shield match being a better preparation than an international match. Let Ajay Ratra, the current Goa Ranji Captain take Dhoni's place :--D :--D I agree, so stupid that Dhoni isn't opting for rest for such a meaningless series  CSK fielded more 1st picks from Australia and India in Champions league than for this series. :cantstop:
kabira Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Last year or earlier this year. Ponting or someone from their team said. This will be ideal preparation for the World Cup in sub continent. Ofcourse they had 7 ODI then. LOL.....now no importance.
Sooda Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Well MSD should not have played form the outset, all the more reason now to sit this one out, bring Dinesh in.

More... No practice for teams ahead of final ODI, due to rain Press Trust Of India Margao, October 23, 2010 Persistent rains on Saturday forced cancellation of the practice sessions of both the Indian and Australian cricket teams on the eve of the third and final One-day in Margao. It rained consistently Friday night before stopping early on Saturday morning. However, it started raining again around 9:00am, forcing the groundsmen to cover the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. Australia need to win Sunday's match to square the three-martch series. India had won the second match in Visakhapatnam to take a 1-0 lead while the first match was abandoned due to rains in Kochi.
kabira Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So its confirmed Just like Pakis when they toured aussies, Aussies are going empty handed from India :--D:--D:--D:--D
DomainK Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I am happy that we played like champions. The Aussies gave good resistance, for which the deserve credit, but finally had to give in to the inevitable.
achilles Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 :aha: :aha: :aha: :aha: :aha: :aha: :aha: :aha:
achilles Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 :isalute: But MEK says Rankings are screwed up. How dare we call ourselves Champions :hitler:
jf1gp_1 Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 lets ignore rankings then; we still beat them 2-0 and played like a champion team. A good SA tour should shut up the reamining critics
ZodiaC Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 ODI series sucked with rains and second string sides :(( We needed a 4 match test series IMO But hey a brownwash is a brownwash :isalute:
