Great logic. Take those not outs out and the average goes from 115.93 to 33.44 :winky: (Just to point out the difference, hope you got the point) He almost has as many not outs as Sachin has till date.
why would you take out no's ? great logic indeed more nos only mean, hes finished off more matches

I think both Tendulkar and Ganguly have been more sucesful than him in Tournament Finals and in WCs. Dhoni may have done well in Bilateral series, But he is not that good as them in Tournament Finals, Semifinals and WC matches. I'll bring in stats to prove that ASAP. Plus Dhoni is nowhere comparable to both Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid as he cant score in Places like SA, Eng.

Oh.. So scoring a few leisurely 20's with overs to spare is finishing off for you? :giggle: How many times we have seen him coming in such situations and finishing things off? :--D There are quite a few good innings but that average of 113 is a big BLOAT.

Never claimed he was a better batsmen , hes only played more useful knocks than any of these players . & am sure by filtering stats to your convenience Tendulkar can be proved to be better ..like you said , tournament finals , WCs etc .
Its not flirting stats, When a player do well in this crunch games that means he has the ability to perform under pressure. In the big games. Talking about playing more useful knocks than Tendulkar , Ganguly ETC, Let me tell you playing in the best team helps, Mostly Tendulkar carried the team on his shoulders in the early and Mid 90s then Ganguly did a great job to assist him. He and Tendulkar became backbone of our ODI team. there have been occasions when they have scored 100s yet ended up on a losing side. Which Dhoni doesnt need to face as much as Tendulkar or Ganguly had to.

Ganguly has many Hundreds in World Cup. Dhoni is Yet to score a Run in WC that says all.:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

So NZ > SA? Agreed he didnt score much in NZ, AS you said England has not been a power house, But have always been beter than NZ. :winky: Against the best Bowling attack after Australia i.e SA he had few Tons, leave alone the runs. Against England too he has much more runs than Dhoni has.

You are talking about strike rate? Dravid played most of his cricket in late 90's and Early 2000s then 70 was a bit slower, But not bad by any stretch of imagination. If acc to you a player having greater strike rate becomes a beter player then Shahid Afridi is your Idol. Dhoni cant score a single Run in South African and English Conditions, he just doesnt have the technique which Rahul Dravid had and scored day in and day out.

Ganguly didn't lead us in any tontee tontee. In only Wcup he lead he has done pretty well though we were unlucky to finish it off.

Powaar house or not.. England has bowler friendly conditions and he averages 63. And if they suck so bad, why is dhoni averaging so less? :--D And what about his average in SA?

Gosh.. Man u r a legend, no doubt.. You remember that you're comparing a guy who has started playing cricket almost 10 years ago and has played almost double the matches as Dhoni? 2 different Eras dude.

Dhoni has been no 1 in icc rankings for more than 1 year.As far as i know yuvi' date=sehwag,dravid or ganguly have never been at top. dhoni has two icc odi player of the year award . soo he is clearly best batsman india ever produced after sachin in odis and greatest wk batsman of all time.
Now am more than sure you started following the game in last few Years, ICC Awards started in 2004, No wonder Ganguly didnt feature in none of them , even Tendulkar didnt except this year. ICC Rankings started in 2002. And ICC awards are based on Form, not on class. A guy who havent scored in al conditions can noway become the best. Am sorry find a beter logic to convince the ICF ers.

Firstly who Said Bradman is beter than Tendulkar, Tendulkar is the greatest to have played the game. Plus even if you compare Bradman to Dhoni, let me tell you Bradman has scored runs all over the world, Has Dhoni? The answer is simple NO.
Agree with first paragraph 100%:two_thumbs_up: However, runs all over the world?? Bradman has only ever toured england:giggle:

I have never been fan of Dhoni and I think he is too overrated as batsman. I feel if cricket starts allowing non-playing captains, Dhoni's place in first 11 would immediately be under threat.
