He has 5 wicket hauls against every country he has played, stastically second best test spinner currently after swann, very handy batsman - played many match winning knocks. Not to forget the guy is captaining bangles as well. Hes anything but overrated.

He has been performing. And I think when a player from a minnow team does well against bog teams, he is usually talented and is under rated. Performing well in the company of a few more good players is comparatively easier than performing well in a team full of mediocre players. Andy Flower is a great example. Shakib has the performances to show. He is a good player and deserves all the accolades he gets.

I second DomainK there. He is definitely underrated, perhaps even i was one of them underrating him just a few days back, but "someone" showed me his stats and that changed it all.
