there was this game which took place between Nz and Pak back in 2000 or sometime when razzaq just went bezerk. That game was the game which made Razaaq what he is today i feel. About yesterdays game, Brilliant display by Razzaq. Always thought he is much better than lot of other players who get to play in Pakistan's odi line up every now and than. Most shocking for me was when he wasn't picked in 07 pakistan T20 world cup squad.

ok mate, aleem dar is rubbish, should have never got the best umpire award but icc cant do anything because by producing some magic decision they are worth keeping, just like pakistan team zVqbBeocYd4 not to forget asad rauf's decision in ashes 09, when trott was gievn not out rightly so!

Didn’t get to watch the match, but seems like it was an incredible innings. It is difficult enough to overcome a reqd. RR of 10 /over in the last 6-7 overs with 5 even 6 wickets in hand, but to do so with only a couple of wickets in the bank is pretty amazing. Don’t want to take anything away from Razzak, but there must have been pretty unimaginative, daft bowling from the Saffies towards the end. But this is what Pakistan is capable of doing. They are never short of players who will take your breath away with some sparkling individual performances. It is for this reason that they’re always a credible threat as an opposition. Of course, what these performances also do is help perpetuate this myth that the Pakistani team is teeming with uber-talented players who just cant get their act together. Though that is true at a certain level, by and large, over the last decade, the quality of their players has gone downhill by the month.

What still baffles me is why Botha chose Albie morkel to bowl the last over. And his rotation of the bowlers in the middle overs was poor - bowling out all his key bowlers in the middle overs itself.

Just checked the scorecard. Put together, the last 3 tailenders faced only 7 deliveries in the last 6 overs. That shows most of the runs were scored in boundaries and there were very few singles, which in turn shows they were probably very few good balls bowled. But as you said, you still have to hit the balls and score the runs. So Kudos to Razzak for that.

ICC nominated steve finn best emerging player does he really deserve that award? i dont think so ofcourse it was out but aleem dar knows pakistan are already losing games one biased decision may save them from loss and he just did that. Dont teach me cricket i know more than u can ever think of.
