How did you manage to trust Boria Mazumdar's view on what happened, as the truth? What is shocking is for you to actually believe such crap...of course I assume you are aware of Kapil's personality as a player...that you have seen him play. I think you'll find that there are quite a few guys here who actually watched the match live in Nov 1993. And I don't think Boria Mazumdar would have been in the dressing room at that time to know about Kapil's denial (the guy is just as old as me...in early-mid 30s). You could check with the various fans here whether they remember Kapil declining to bowl (those days they did not run into an ad break after every second...they would show what was happening on the field...I remember it being a decision taken after a group of Indians discussed for a few minutes) Which is it? Did you see the game, by the way?
Hey sorry for the delay. Yes I am aware of Kapil's persona as a player, but have not seen him play that much. But then Boria Mujumdar is a cricket historian and hence I took his view. I was very young then but yes have seen the clippings of the last 2 overs. By the looks of it Kapil due to his strapped left hand seemed reluctant to bowl the over. That's what it looked like to me. Ofcourse its what I am perceiving and you need not agree to it.

IMO' date=' as a complete bowler Walsh>Ambrose[/quote'] No mate. Ambrose was on a different league altogether. He used to instill that fear in the opposition and I think he was the last fast bowler, along with Donald, to do so. Since then we have had speedsters looking to bowl at 100 mph but they don't rage fear in the opposition. If I am not mistaken then Ambrose started very late. But he could be effective on any any track. I still remember the way he dislodged the stumps of Ajay Jadeja and Sidhu in the 96 WC. That was some sight. Walsh was more of a war horse who would bowl long long spells and he kept on developing newer tricks in the process. But in terms of consistency i would rate Ambrose ahead of Walsh.

ok. You can think.
I know! It was an ordeal, dude! I'll have to plan when I must do 'thinking' again...requires quite a lot of energy and it's very difficult for me to think. I've never known how to...its a totally different experience. And I don't know if I'll be able to adapt, pal. So I must plan almost an year in advance on how to go about the process of thinking. But with your help, I may be able to improve. You'll help?

Oh .. now I see why KT created the worst batsman thread. But still unnecessary KT. You should not resort to such tactics. :P

IMO' date=' as a complete bowler Walsh>Ambrose[/quote'] Walsh is not fit to tie Ambroses shoe laces! Walsh piggy backed on the great windies bowlers to get his wickets. Walsh was decent bowler but not even on same planet as Ambrose. Ambrose was amazing bowler, easily in top 5 pacers ever!
