vayuu1 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 As I said I am talking about the whole package, not just one part of it,and as far as bragging is concerned the British invented hockey, cricket, football, then why other teams who are doing great in these sports brag about it,it's not about invention ,it's more about perfection.there are loads of guys ,so called food experts who prefer north Indian breakfast as well, depends on taste.
Detonator Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 :WTF: my two cents, 1. Most southies are nice to northies who come to south. 2. Some northies are nice to southies who come to north.

Detonator Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 :WTF: I meant, South is more than just chennai :--D Well in Chennai, most northies get bad experiances with autowallas, so do us. They aren't that nice. Then most nothies expect us to speak in Hindi. Even if we speak in English, they continue speak in Hindi.. This is the story for most of them.

Debutant Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 In my personal experience, southies are generally more friendly and helpful than the northies. Northies are generally rude and arrogant. Only thing I hate about South India is the food. Excluding food, I really like South India and if I am not forced by my company to move to onsite(overseas), I am planning to settle down here in Bangalore. PS: I am not a southie :--D

PS: I am not a southie :--D I agree with food part. I prefer eating a Rajasthani Thali anytime :winky: The difference is, Hotel food and Home food. One can say that Home food is the best all over India. more than half of the restaurants are crap in south cities (few exceptions being Hyderabad, Madurai, Mysore).. Outside food is better in most nothie cities...

SLICKR392 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 When it comes to clean looking inexpensive restaurants' date=' South has way ahead of north.[/quote'] :agree:
ganeshran Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 When it comes to clean looking inexpensive restaurants' date=' South has way ahead of north.[/quote'] Depends on what you are eating. For local food - roti, dal and rajma North has plenty of inexpensive restaurants which are as hygienic as their southie counterparts.
CSK Fan Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 When it comes to clean looking inexpensive restaurants' date=' South has way ahead of north.[/quote'] Wrong. The food mostly sucks, and clean my ass. Sorry food wise nothies have us southies beaten

SLICKR392 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I've visited almost all part of Kerala, Hyderabad and B'lore food joints. You are saying "Kal shappu" is Kerala sucks? B'lore isn't that great when it comes to inexpensive food joints but Andhra and Kerala has amazing food and they are usually found in small joints. I would do anything to eat in Allapuzha, next to the canal where you find heavenly food.
Debutant Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Except Tamilians' date=' they are pretty rude and arrogant[/quote'] They are nothing compared to the northies. I still don't get it why Punjabis think they are somehow superior to all other Indians. Less said about UP and Bihar people, the better. Even people in Orissa are pretty unhelpful.
